I have been in the digital industry for 7 years now, first starting out as an account executive in a small boutique firm, moving up to a global ad agency, and then crossing the divide to a client role where I honed my skills in management of budgets, campaigns, assets and ROIs. In all of these roles, I have been a digital champion to my colleagues, clients and management, always pushing for initiatives that carry weight in both business and thought-leadership.
With both agency and client experience, I have seen both sides of the coin. Creative ideas are good, but creative ideas with business effectiveness are even better. I thrive on seeing results: sales, sign-ups and smiles. In both agency and client roles, I have proven myself to colleagues and bosses and given the reins to a multitude of regional projects across Asia Pacific and Greater China.
I am also a person that values innovation and new technology, always challenging clients and colleagues with traditional mindsets with digital initiatives. I have a knack in sniffing out technology trends before they became mainstream; that’s how I discovered Hyperlapse almost a year before Instagram launched it as an application. That’s how I managed to push a traditional health tonic brand to build a “Brain Booth” that measures brain waves, and impressing that health tonic brand to hire me as a digital marketeer.
I have been described as cheerful, tenacious and savvy - titles that I wear with pride. I'm extremely driven, am comfortable with autonomy but at the same time value teamwork and strong leadership. I've been well liked by peers, managers and senior management, all who have been counted as my mentors, advocates and close friends.
